How to Remotely Activate Flashlight, Snapshots, and GPS

Click through gallery below to see how to use Remote Activation to take snapshots from an inspector's device, activate the device’s flashlight, or trigger a reminder to activate the GPS if it’s not currently enabled.


To use any of the Remote Activation features, open a claim file and begin a live collaboration session with a user. 
Send 'Activate GPS' Prompt (1 of 2):
If the user has not activated the GPS on their device, click the grey 'GPS Disabled' button to automatically send a reminder to re-enable the GPS.
Send 'Activate GPS' Prompt (2 of 2):
Once the user activates the GPS on their device, the button will turn green and display 'GPS Enabled'.
Take Remote Snapshot (1 of 2):
If the user is unable to take a snapshot while documenting (if they are on a ladder, for example) click the 'Take Snapshot' button to remotely take a full-quality picture from the user's device.
Take Remote Snapshot (2 of 2):
After a snapshot is taken, it will be automatically uploaded to the claim file under the Pictures Tab.
Remotely Activate Flashlight (1 of 2):
When the user's flashlight is off, the flashlight button will be grey and read 'Flashlight Off'. Click the button to remotely activate the flashlight.
Remotely Activate Flashlight (2 of 2):
While the flashlight is on, the button will turn green and display 'Flashlight On'.
